 Letters & Lines’ Theme
May – “BACK TO NATURE”

We are on the verge of summer…flowers are blooming, everything is getting greener.  We are looking forward to getting out and back to nature after our cold winter weather.  Think greens, blues, yellows… and share your thoughts about the beauty of nature and what it means to you.  Try using any of the new lettering styles or techniques you learned this year.  Choose a meaningful song lyric about summer and letter it using your favourite tool.  Relax and enjoy the feeling that nature brings.

The Edmonton Calligraphic Society (ECS) will be hosting General Meetings for the 2021/22 year in the following months: September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April and May. General Meetings are designed to provide ECS members with the time and space to practice their calligraphy, gain valuable feedback and advice from fellow letterers, and learn about upcoming calligraphic events and volunteer opportunities.

This Membership year will be delivered mostly virtually (Sept to March). Normally, General Meetings are typically hosted on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 8:50 PM at the Millwoods Library, Seniors and Multicultural Centre, 2610 Hewes Way NW, Edmonton, AB.

A reminder that our membership year is from July 1st to June 30th.
