The Edmonton Calligraphic Society is a non-profit organization formed in February 1986. The objective of the society is to develop and refine calligraphy and related crafts among members and to introduce and promote calligraphy as an art form to the general public in and around Edmonton. The Edmonton Calligraphic Society (ECS) will be hosting General Meetings in person and there will be 4 meetings done virtually for the 2023/24 year. General Meetings are designed to provide ECS members with the time and space to practice their calligraphy, gain valuable feedback and advice from fellow letterers, and learn about upcoming calligraphic events and volunteer opportunities.

The 2023/24 Membership year will be a combination of in person and online. Normally, General Meetings are typically hosted on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 8:50 PM at the Millwoods Seniors and Multicultural Centre, 2610 Hewes Way NW, Edmonton, AB. Please note that this address also houses the Millwoods Public Library.
A reminder that our membership year is from July 1st to June 30th.
