 Letters & Lines’ Theme

March -“RAINBOWS”

Imagine that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!  Using the colours of a rainbow as a background, choose an Irish saying to letter.  Using your water brush and watercolours, letter some quotes or song lyrics about rainbows or good luck or gold or…  Try lettering a quote in a new lettering style using a broad nib or try it with a pointed nib.

FIVE times per year, the Edmonton Calligraphic Society (ECS) hosts General Meetings. General Meetings are designed to provide ECS members with the time and space to practice their calligraphy, gain valuable feedback and advice from fellow letterers, and learn about upcoming calligraphic events and volunteer opportunities.

This Membership year will be delivered virtually. Normally, General Meetings are typically hosted on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 8:50 PM at the Millwoods Library, Seniors and Multicultural Centre, 2610 Hewes Way NW, Edmonton, AB.

A reminder that our membership year is from July 1st to June 30th.
