Letters & Lines’ Theme for November

WEATHER: Words that describe weather:

Example: Petrichor – the scent of rain on dry earth.

Search all the different words for snow in different languages. Write some Weather quotes. There are so many possibilities for the weather. We always are asking about the weather.

Thanks to Pauline Baynes for this prompt!

The Edmonton Calligraphic Society (ECS) will be hosting General Meetings virtually for the 2021/22 year. General Meetings are designed to provide ECS members with the time and space to practice their calligraphy, gain valuable feedback and advice from fellow letterers, and learn about upcoming calligraphic events and volunteer opportunities.

This Membership year will be delivered mostly virtually. Normally, General Meetings are typically hosted on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 8:50 PM at the Millwoods Library, Seniors and Multicultural Centre, 2610 Hewes Way NW, Edmonton, AB.

A reminder that our membership year is from July 1st to June 30th.
