The Edmonton Calligraphic Society is a non-profit organization formed in February 1986. The objective of the society is to develop and refine calligraphy and related crafts among members and to introduce and promote calligraphy as an art form to the general public in and around Edmonton.

Next meeting is October 4th/2017. The Letters and Lines theme is “The Ties That Bind” and the Lettering Class is Foundational.
Five times per year, the Edmonton Calligraphic Society (ECS) hosts General Meetings. General Meetings are designed to provide ECS members with the time and space to practice their calligraphy, gain valuable feedback and advice from fellow letterers, and learn about upcoming calligraphic events and volunteer opportunities.
General Meetings are typically hosted on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 8:50 PM at the Millwoods Library, Seniors and Multicultural Centre (2610 Hewes Way NW #210, Edmonton, AB T6L OA9.)
